Dr Rob Park recently co-convened the 2024 National Pain Conference in Brisbane with over 200 pain physicians from all over Australia. Over four days, there were over 40 expert speakers on pain topics from exercise therapies, to pelvic pain, to new interventional techniques and new medication options. Dr Paul Frank presented on the balanced use of interventions in pain medicine to a very appreciative audience to hear about his wealth of experience. Everyone left a little tired, but full of new things to help our patients.
Dr Rob Park recently presented to over 350 GPs from all over Australia to assist in improving chronic pain care in primary care. Over 950 GPs have registered to have this education as a video as well to gain their education points. Not bad for a 7 pm 90-minute Webinar on a Wednesday!
Dr Rob Park has recently completed a National Podcast with 'The Good GP' one of Australia's largest General Practitioner Podcasts. The topic was on the use of procedures in pain medicine and while this was discussion was primarily for GP audiences, it may be of interest to people experiencing pain and considering procedural options. Dr Rob Park recently coordinated and ran in conjunction with Sport and Spinal, the Sunshine Coasts largest musculoskeletal and pain conference. There were over 140 health professionals including medical specialists such as Pain Physicians, Orthopaedic Specialists, Neurosurgeons, Rehabilitation specialists, Neurologists, and allied health specialties such as physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry, dieticians, and many more. Pain Specialist Dr Paul Frank also represented Resolve Pain and provided expert education on the day.
Continuing the growth of Resolve Pain and offering increasing services to our patients on the Sunshine Coast is one of our key goals. We are extremely priviledged to be able to welcome Pain Physician Dr Joe Kluver to the team from July 1. Dr Kluver has been the director of the pain service at the large Tertiary Brisbane hospital - the Royal Princess Alexandra.
