Dr Paul Frank is a pain specialist and anaesthetist with over 19 years experience in chronic pain medicine on the Sunshine Coast. Growing up in Cairns and trained in Brisbane, he has established himself as a well-regarded and valued pain specialist, helping many people reduce their pain and improve their quality of life over many years. 

Dr Frank is known nationally as a lead educator in pain procedures and is often asked to travel across Australia to teach other pain specialists and trainees these techniques and skills.

Dr Rob Park

Dr Rob Park is a pain specialist who values exploring complex pain conditions with a fresh perspective and explaining medical conditions in language that people can understand. Dr Park grew up in Cairns and studied at the University of Queensland before completing training at Nambour Hospital. 

Before becoming a pain specialist, Dr Park was a well-known local GP for almost ten years based in Buderim and was a national chief examiner for the Royal Australian College of GPs. He has presented at national GP conferences, wrote and convened the Sport and Spinal Sunshine Coast MSK and pain conference for the last three years, and is a freelance writer for Australian Doctor and a co-author of a medical textbook.

Dr Tania Morris

Dr Tania Morris is a pain specialist and anaesthetist with over 19 years of experience in chronic pain medicine on the Sunshine Coast. She is well known nationally as she has been the director of the public pain service on the Sunshine Coast since it was established in 2011. She trained in Brisbane and then established herself on the Sunshine Coast, initially working in anaesthetics and full-time pain management.

She is well known for her extensive training in coaching and mentoring and takes a holistic approach to pain management. She utilises a full range of skills to help generate a personalised pain management plan. She supports people on the road to a better quality of life.

Dr Joe Kluver

Dr Joe Kluver is experienced in interventional and non-interventional aspects of pain management and has an interest in research and teaching. He is currently involved in research regarding virtual reality in pain medicine, low dose naltrexone for fibromyalgia and the psycho/social aspect of chronic pain management.  He is an examiner for the College of Pain Medicine.

Dr. Kluver held the position of Director at the Metro South Pain Rehabilitation Centre, where he was responsible for managing patients with complex chronic pain, the running of a large interdisciplinary service and providing education to registrars, allied health clinicians and other junior doctors.

Dr. Kluver's vision is to develop excellence in the specialty of Pain Medicine, and he is particularly interested in the application of newly developed technology, such as Virtual Reality and Neurofeedback, in the management of chronic pain. At Resolve Pain, he will continue to provide the highest level of care to his patients and work collaboratively with the team to offer innovative solutions for pain management.

Dr Robert Wright

Dr Robert Wright trained in anaesthetics and pain medicine at the university of Utah graduating in 1991. His career since has been devoted to multidisciplinary pain medicine, education, and innovation. His philosophy is straightforward; listen, make a diagnosis, and care about the whole patient. After three decades as a pain specialist, he understands that no one treatment suits all patients, and each patient deserves thoughtful and individualized care using all the tools of the field. Throughout his career he has been recognized for compassionate patient care, education, and pioneering new techniques and technologies.

Dr Wright received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1987 then pursued training in anesthesia and pain management at the University of Utah. He was in the first group of physicians to gain certification in pain medicine under the American board of Anesthesiology and become recognize recognized as a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine. In 2014 Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice and a Fellow of The Faculty of Pain Medicine FFPM(ANZCA) in 2023.

Dr. Wright has led original research efforts and pioneered new technologies like the DekompressorTM and NimbusTM devices used to treat back pain. His work has resulted in several medical patents over the years.

Dr Dan O’Dea

Dr Dan O’Dea is a specialist GP with advanced training in anaesthetics, pain and musculoskeletal medicine. Dan was born in South Australia and trained at Flinders University before moving to the Sunshine Coast with his family in 2009. He has since undertaken extended training, particularly in the areas of musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine. Dr O’Dea has a passion for non-operative treatment of any musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions with an aim to reduce pain and aid recovery by promoting tissue healing, rather than just masking the pain. Regenerative techniques utilised include; platelet-rich plasma, prolotherapy, perineural injection treatment and Dextrose hydrodissection of nerves and fascia. Diagnostic blocks (to nerves, tissues, joints) and radiofrequency treatment are also utilised when appropriate. Dr O'Dea combines advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic techniques with ultrasound guided procedures in rooms to ensure accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment protocols for each patient. He utilises these skills to help patients improve their pain and function to allow them to return to work and/or get back to a more normal quality of life.

Dr Tegan Stewart

Dr Tegan Stewart is a Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist whoholds a passion for providing patient-centered holistic care and supporting persons with disability and persistent pain to improve their everyday functionand quality of life in the context of complex and chronic medical conditions.

Dr Stewart grew up in Innisfail, Far North Queensland and attained her medical degree at James Cook University in Townsville.  She moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2016 to complete her specialist training acrossa mixture of public and private Rehabilitation facilities in the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane areas, including in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and Spinal Injuries Unit at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Dr Stewart is experienced in and enjoys all areas of Rehabilitation Medicine with particular interest and expertise in the Rehabilitation management of Persistent Pain Syndromes and Disability for conditions such as: Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury (including Traumatic Brain Injury and Concussion), Spinal cord injury, Functional Neurological Disease, Chronic neurological diseases (eg. Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis), Neuropathy or myopathy, Amputation (and phantom limb pain), Arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions

Hannah Tregea

Returning from Maternity Leave in August 2024

Hannah Tregea is a Health Psychologist with over ten years of experience, with specialist skills in psychological aspects for people experiencing persistent pain and other health conditions. She completed postgraduate training in health psychology and has been a lead clinician for pain programs in Victoria.

Hannah primarily utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-informed therapies. Hannah is trained in the Explain Pain and Graded Motor Imagery programs and enjoys helping clients to feel more confident in understanding and managing pain, and getting back to important activities.

Zara Jaeger

Zara is currently an Enrolled Nurse and is continuing her studies to become a Registered Nurse.  Zara started at Resolve Pain in January 2023 and prior to this was working at Cooroy in General Practice.

Zara spends her days assisting the clinic doctors with ultrasound guided procedures that include Prolotherapy, Nerve blocks and Platelet Rich Plasma treatments. Zara appreciates the opportunity to build trusted relationships with her patients and colleagues.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her 2 cats.
